My passion has always been for diamonds and jewelry even since I was a teenager working at the family pawn business. After high school I began working in retail jewelry. After 10 years I decided I'd rather buy jewelry, and do it better than other buyers, which led to the creation of Cook County Buyers Inc.

I am very knowledgeable in the jewelry industry, and can determine your jewelry value accurately whether it’s basic gold and diamond jewelry, an entire estate jewelry collection, fine designer item, or antique piece. With this knowledge, I am able to determine a fair price for your item based on market demand.

I’ve been working in the jewelry industry since 1996, and I understand it from every angle. I started in my uncle’s pawn shop when I was only 13 years old, cleaning and refurbishing gold and diamond jewelry. This was the root of my desire to buy estate jewelry.

During high school and college, I worked for Rogers & Holland’s Jewelers as a salesman. I was even top salesman in the whole company of over 70 stores one year and always in the top 10.

After graduating from UIC with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, I went on to manage several different locations. While I was very good at what I did, I began to feel bad selling jewelry to people knowing that the actual wholesale value was less than 20% of the purchase price.

After 10 years in the retail jewelry industry I took a leap of faith, quit my job, and formed Cook County Buyers.

Because of my 10 years experience in retail sales I am able to be compassionate with my clients. I know firsthand what you paid for your jewelry at the retail store. Not many buyers can say that!

And now since 2011 I have learned the wholesale end of the business and built relationships with dealers all over the country. With this network of buyers and sellers, I can always establish the highest value for your item. Therefore I am able to buy gold, silver, diamonds, watches, and designer jewelry for top dollar.

In 2019 I moved my office to Northbrook IL to offer my clients a convenient and safe location to sell their jewelry. I meet by appointment only, but I live near my office so I can meet clients same day when needed.
